A major £5m extension and refurbishment of one of Northern Ireland’s longest established shopping centres, situated in South West Belfast.
Due to the exacting fast track programme required by the contract, work commenced with the minimal mobilisation period with the part demolition of the existing structure and major diversion of existing services. The latter element of the works required careful coordination of all trades and close liaison with the centre management.
CFA piling and substructures are complete and the steel-framed superstructure enclosing approximately 2,500 m2 of floor space is on programme.
